Leave from Keauhou Harbor - just minutes away from the incredible Kealakekua Bay, home of the Captain Cook monument! The two main areas you will explore (Pu’uhonua O Honaunau & Kealakekua Bay) have a vibrant history and an array of animals that live within their waters. Beyond that, your morning snorkel tour will include discovering sea caves and lava tubes, carved out through the formation of the Big Island. Your trip out to the reefs is almost as fun as being the water as spinner dolphins and humpback whales (when in season) are known to put on a show just off the bow of the boat. You may get to see breaches above the water or maybe even a baby whale calf learning to swim alongside its mother.
